Current Show:

Love and Science, BCFM Radio

I’m the Producer of Love and Science, Bristol’s weekly science radio show on BCFM. Having hosted the show for over a year, I have now stepped into a host-and-producer role, running the show in the background and sourcing guests, stories and press work, and hosting episodes monthly, having trained other presenters to support and host the show alongside me.

Every Monday, myself or another host chat with guest presenters and interviewees to explore some of the latest science news, incredible research and discoveries, and dive into the weird, wonderful and (sometimes) bizarre world of science. From the environment and archaeology to health, space, physics and beyond, there’s something for everyone on Love and Science.

Each week, I plan, structure and contact guests for the next episode before planning the timings of the show and writing scripts and headline bulletins. During live shows, I host the show whilst running the desks to ensure microphone levels are balanced, songs or packages come in at the correct times and stories keep to their allotted time.
