A little about me…

Hey! Welcome to my portfolio. I hope you’ll enjoy scrolling through the content available on here, and learning more about me. The most important thing to know, I think, is I’m an avid nature lover – anything ocean or nature-related, and I’m there. I’ve always been surrounded by nature, and have always found new ways to connect with it, or spend time in it – from learning to sail, surf or kayak, to hiking through the wilderness, and more recently, podcasting on paddleboards. That last one’s a bit insane, I admit.

Alongside being an advocate for nature and its protection, I am a science communicator and digital marketer, with experience across written, audio and video communication formats. I specialise in storytelling around environmental, marine and wildlife-based themes, but bring my experience and passion to a variety of topics within science, from health and lifestyle to archaeology, space and beyond.

As Producer of Love and Science on BCfm Radio, Co-Producer of The PaddlePod and Content and Communications Coordinator with Communications INC, I’ve built a strong background in tackling complex scientific issues and breaking it down into engaging, informative content for a wide range of audiences, media channels, clients and topics.

Communications INC is a UK-based media agency with a heavy focus on ocean and climate communications. Working across a range of client organisations, all advocating for action on ocean and climate issues, as Content and Campaigns Coordinator, I am responsible for drafting, editing and delivering high-impact, high-quality written content across web, blogs, social media, emails, newsletters, press releases and more.
